Alright. I'm in too!

So this is my first post to a blog for several years. I'm not much of a writer so I'll make it short and sweet! I love what you are doing here Cami and Erica and I want in. And BTW, good job Cami! You look great and you've done awesome!

I have hit my own little plateau, so I'm stepping up the motivation. I had my little girl Camille almost 18 months ago. I actually lost the baby weight quicker then the last two pregnancies (#3 and two in school keeps me crazy busy)! But last Thanksgiving and Christmas I let loose. It was so great! But I paid the price and put on a few pounds. I also stopped exercising regularly. So in February or March I signed up at the gym and subscribed to Weight Watchers online. I love both! I've done Weight Watchers a couple times before so I've got the hang of it now and it's always worked well for me. I have always enjoyed exercising and even used to teach group fitness classes.

I'm currently at a weight that doesn't bother me terribly but I'd like to see if I can discipline myself a little more. I'm not sure if I have strong enough will power to increase my fitness level by much. (or if giving up really good food is worth it). But I'd like to find out. So here are some of my goals:

1. Lose 10 pounds (I haven't been at that weight since high school so I'm not even sure my body will do this)

2. Exercise regularly

3. Increase muscle definition. (I'd like to feel confident in my swimsuit or even a tight shirt)

4. Try a CrossFit class when I feel ready

That's it! Not very exciting but it does feel good to write it down. I'm also going to post a "before" pic soon...maybe.

So glad to see you on here! I think your goals seem great and you do look awesome! I noticed when you lost all your baby weight after Camille, and thought you looked great. (Seriously, I was a little jealous because I was quite pregnant then, and we all know how that goes!) You should come over sometime (especially in the Summer)and we can workout together while the kids play. I've also thought about working out at the park by your house in the Summer, in the mornings while the kids play. (I've found a few playground workouts that I'd love to try.) I just started looking into a few crossfit ideas, and if you look up animascrossfit.com, they give you a crossfit workout of the day and I've liked that. One day, Alison Southwell and I did a crossfit thing where we ran a 1/2 mile, did 100 boy push-ups, 200 sit-ups, and 300 squats. We thought it went great until the next few days! We were DYING after!!! Anyway- let me know if you ever want to come workout after we drop the kids off at school. I know you go to the gym, right(?) but I always like working out with partners! Keeps me motivated. Can't wait to see your before and then your "AFTER" picturs!! Good Luck! Welcome to the blog!
