Winter's coming...
So, how is everyone doing???? Summer is coming quickly to an end. I'll admit I'm a little bummed. I LOVE to get outside to exercise, and during the winter seasons, it just doesn't happen. How do you all stay motivated during the Fall/Winter months? It seems like during the winter I stay inside (with the food) and don't feel as energetic. Anybody have any tips to help me before the season changes????

10K!!!!!!!
So, last Saturday I ran my 10K. I did it in 1 hour and 7 minutes, which isn't FAST by any means, but I was trying to stay under 1 hour 15 minutes, so at least I made my goal! It ended up being in the 10min/mile area, which was fine by me! Here is a picture of the race....my mom, my cousin Shalae, my Aunt Shareen, my sister-in-law Rachel (not in the first picture but in the second), and my friend Jamie all did it with me. It was so much fun. The three ladies in the first picture with me walked and they did it SO FAST!!!! (for walking that is!) Sometimes, I think it's easier to jog slowly, than to walk that fast! They walked about 4 miles an hour and completed the race in just about 1 1/2 hours. Rachel, my sister-in-law, took 2nd in her age category, since she ran it in 54 minutes!!!! I'm amazed! And Jamie ran it in 58 minutes which is also amazing! Such wonderful girls! Thanks again ladies! It was a blast!

Hello....is anybody there???
Just wondering if anybody looks at this blog anymore. Well...I'll still write just for the heck of it. I've lost almost all my baby weight and it's taken me an entire year! Can you believe it? Something was way different after the third kid! I still exercised and ate healthy, but it just didn't come off as easily. I feel healthier than I've ever been though, so I love it! I am running a 10K on Saturday, and I'll let you know how it goes! ....um....that is if anybody reads this still!!!!

2nd Round
I have started my 2nd round of P90X. I am doing it a little different this time and hope that I can keep up with it. I did the Lean program the 1st time and I dropped 3 sizes. I did not loose any weight, but I also did not gain any weight. Which I am happy about. So this time I have decided to do the program this way, Odd weeks I will do the Lean program and Even weeks I am doing the double program (You workout morning and night 3-4 times a week staring week 6). So we shall see how it all goes. My 13 weeks ends a week before my birthday, so I figured it was a good target to reach for this time. I did not make my goal by my kids birthday, but came pretty close. So here is to the next challenge!

Happy
I have been doing the P90X for 8 weeks, on my 9th week this week. I can tell a difference. I went to Maurice's to see what I could use my Christmas Gift Card on thinking I can't fit into anything there. Well, I was brave a grabbed a size 11/12 pair of Jeans and THEY FIT (well a little big in the hip and leg area)!! I was SHOCKED!! I have not be this size in 14 years. I have 5 more weeks of P90X Lean Program and I can't wait to see the final me. I am going to do the program again though when I finish it this time. It is a killer, but it truly works! Hope everyone is doing great this month!

Nose dive
I took a complete nose dive this last week with my eating and have gone crazy with the treats. I am sick up to my hairline with sweets and starting tomorrow back on track with eating healthy and excersing. I have exercised all week, but I don't know how much it really counts because of all the sweets.
I know it is Christmas, but I over did it and have thrown ALL the treat/sweets out the door with the trash this morning.
